DIY consists of 4 districts & 1 city, each district and the city has a variety of tourist attractions. a. Yogyakarta City

Malioboro is the name of a street in Yogyakarta. Malioboro Street is very popular & has become one of the tourist attractions in Yogyakarta that are obliged to be visited, even to take pictures on the malioboro street marker, we often have to queue first.

The name malioboro street is of origin from thesansekerta language & has the meaning of wreath. Malioboro Street offers endless experience of shopping and culinary tours.

During the day, along Malioboro Street, there are many sellers of clothes, bags, sandals, handicrafts, batik, accessories, and other unique items that can be purchased at low prices. Meanwhile, at night, there are many yogyakarta special food vendors along Malioboro.b Street. Sleman 1) Prambanan Temple

The location of the temple is located on the edge of Jl. Raya Yogya Solo precisely ±17 km from the center of Yogya city, namely in the village of Prambanan, Sleman Regency.

This temple occupies an area of 39.8 ha with the tallest building of 47 meters and the temple which is a Hindu civilization in javanese land by UNESCO from 1991 was designated as a World Cultural Reserve.

This temple was built during the reign of 2 Kings namely King RakaiPikatan & Raja Rakai Belitung approximately 10th century or ± 850 AD byWangsa Sanjaya.

This temple is also claimed that roro Jonggrang temple is inseparable from the legend that exists, namely the legend which at that time was told that there was a young man named Bandung Bondowoso who fell in love with Princess RoroJonggrang, but it turned out to be unrequited love. two) Jogja Kembali Monument (Monjali)

Jogja Kembali Monument is one of the tourist attractions found in Yogyakarta.Monument jogja Kembali Yogyakarta was built on June 29, 1985. Traveling to the same as repeating the history of jogja monuments again contained in the history of elementary, middle, and even high school history.

Tourists can watch fishermen's activities and enjoy ready-to-eat fish or bring fresh as sang-sang. 2) Nglanggeran (Ancient Volcano)

Mount Nglanggeran is the only ancient barah mountain in Yogyakartawhich was formed based on magma freezing that occurred approximately 60 million years ago. Composed of igneous rocks in the form of andesite, lava and andesite brection.

This mountain is located in Nglanggeran Village, Pathuk District, Gunung Kidul Regency which is located in a row of the Thousand Mountains. d. Bantul

Parangtritis Beach is the most famous beach in Yogyakarta, so Parangtritis Beach deserves to be considered as one of the tourist attractions in Yogyakarta that is mandatory to visit.

Located approximately 25 KM south of the city center of Yogyakarta, PantaiParangtritis is a beach located on the edge of the Indian Ocean as a result of which it has a characteristic of waves and currents that are relatively large &powerful. The uniqueness based on PantaiParangtritis is the presence of sand dunes that are considered to be mumpy around the beach. e. Kulon Progo 1) Kiskendo Cave

Kiskendo Cave is located at 1200 m above the top of the sea which is part of the mountains based on the menoreh mountains of Kulon Progo Regency. According to a storygua keskindo is the residence of the giant Mahesasura who has the head of a buffalo and Lembusura who has a cow head.

In the story of puppetry, in this place there is a clash between Subali Sugriwa and Mahesasura and the father of Lembusura who inhabits this cave. In this Kiskendo cave there are still many stalactites & stalagmiteswhich are strange but beautiful in shape.

In this cave flows the river under the ground. In the puppetry story, there is a battle between Subali and Sugriwa with Mahesasuradan Lembusura, until the river flows red & white water. 2) Curug Sidoharjo

Curug Sidoharjo (Sidoharjo Waterfall) is located in Sidoharjo Village, District. Samigaluh, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta.

Towards curug ini from the village ofSidoharjo, tourists will be spoiled with its distinctive atmosphere such as expanse, lush trees and mini waterfalls that flow fast as a spring for the surrounding village.

After arriving at the location of the Sidoharjo waterfall, you will see a spread of wildflowers that grow around the waterfall. three) Tea Garden

When visiting the Kulon Progo tea garden there will be served a fairly large expanse of tea trees. Tourists are given the facility to enter the tea.

On the path between the tea gardens, it has been fenced so that tourists do not disturb the tea flora. The fence also serves to protect tourists from falling.
