The Geological Museum was inaugurated in May 1929, while the construction of the building began in April 1927, reported from page cagarbudaya.kemdikbud.go.id.
The address of the Geological Museum is on Jalan Diponegoro Number 57, Bandung City, West Java. The location is relatively close using Gedung Sate, even tourists can walk for 3 mins.
The museum collects a lot of fossils. Upon entering the museum, visitors are able to see fossils of ancient elephants (Stegodon trigonocephalus). Later, they could see a replica of the fossil Tyrannosaurus rex osborn, the fossil of the giant shark Megalodon, & the skull of an ancient person.

Pawon Cave is a relic of prehistoric times located in Rancamoyan Village, Gunungmasigit, Cipatat District, West Bandung Regency.
